Making bread is one of life’s great pleasures and I love experimenting with it.
This week I made this malty walnut and sultana loaf. Its mainly made with a strong white flour and a hint of wholemeal. I also added a tablespoon of malt extract to give it a lovely richness.
A slice from this loaf makes a fantastic cheese on toast or just simply spread it with peanut butter. Even better try that amazing smooth biscuit spread that’s out now.
